  • Wood-burning stove and a stocked wood rack
  • Board games, puzzles, a guitar that needs tuning
  • Sleds, snowshoes, and camp chairs in the mudroom
  • Grill on the deck with a spare propane tank
  • Pack-n-play and a high chair in the upstairs closet

House rules

  • Family and friends only

This isn't a public rental. Please don't pass the booking link around.

  • No smoking indoors

Outside on the deck is fine — use the can by the steps.

  • Dogs welcome

Two max, off the beds, and please pick up in the yard. Pet fee covers the deep clean.

  • Quiet after 10pm

Sound carries a long way up here and the neighbors are a quarter mile off.

  • Water is precious

We're on a well. Short showers, full dishwasher loads.

  • Bears are real

Trash goes in the metal bin, latch closed. Nothing left on the deck overnight.

Getting here in winter

The county plows the main road but the last half mile is ours. If a storm is moving through, come up before dark and don't try it in a two-wheel-drive sedan. There's a shovel and a bag of sand in the mudroom, and the snow blower is gassed up.
